Hilary Nunns
After a successful early career in management training, Hilary Nunns has taught in Further Education for over 10 years, both in mainstream and supported learning, where she became a specialist in devising and implementing behavioural management and learning strategies. Hilary was subsequently recruited to set up and manage a behavioural support department at a vocational FE college, working with many students with aspects of their behaviour which have impacted on their education and supporting teaching staff.
Additionally Hilary works with 'Action for Inclusion' as Lead Specialist (BESD) in the South East, providing support for colleges and sixth forms to develop their own inclusive practices. Hilary has also worked as a teaching and learning coach, and mentor, particularly highlighting successful tactics when working with disenchanted students.
