Charlotte Levene
Charlotte has been working with children and young people for thirteen years. Charlotte qualified as a social worker nine years ago and throughout her career she has specialised in working with Looked After Children. She has worked in children's homes, a Looked After Children Education setting and co-managed a team for Connexions. Charlotte has also worked as senior practitioner in a Looked After Fieldwork Team.
Currently Charlotte is Principal Officer for The National Centre for Excellence in Residential Child Care which is a charity based within The National Children's Bureau. A key part of this role is facilitating seminars for workers within the residential child care sector, enabling best practice to be shared on a regional and national basis.
For 2 days a week she works for the Sex Education Forum, also based at the National Children's Bureau. Her current role there focuses on exploring strategic approaches to college based sexual health services.
Charlotte previously worked for Kids Company as a Practice Assessor for social work students.
