Peter Jenkins
Peter is a Lecturer in Counselling at the University of Salford. He was employed as a social worker before becoming a part-time student counsellor in an FE College, and lecturer in social work and counselling. He is a member of the Professional Conduct Committee of the BACP.
Peter has a special interest in legal aspects of counselling, and has published ‘Counselling, psychotherapy and the Law’ (Sage, 1997) and, with Debbie Daniels, ‘Therapy with Children’ (Sage, 2000). His latest book is ‘Legal Issues in Counselling and Psychotherapy’ (Sage, 2002). He is also a BACP Accredited Counsellor Trainer.
