Ruth Nelson

Ruth’s experience includes teaching English and CDT in London secondary schools,  lecturing in Furniture Making, and contributing to staff development at London schools and colleges, and with the ILEA Equal Opportunities Inspectorate.  She established and managed the innovative Women’s Construction Training Workshop at the Sheffield College.  She spent 5 years as the Teaching and Learning Co-ordinator at the Sheffield College, working with lecturing staff across all areas of the curriculum to improve teaching and learning, and in particular to raise Inspection grades.  She has been a facilitator on the LSN Subject Learning Coaches Programme since its inception in 2005.
