Focus:

AD/HD is a serious problem that crosses medical and educational boundaries. Therefore it is sometimes difficult to find help or support for a student who you believe may have AD/HD or who comes into college with this label.

These students need encouragement to develop self management skills to help them to enter the world of work and lead a successful and fulfilled life.

This event will provide teachers with proven strategies for dealing with the manifestation of behaviour patterns associated with AD/HD and to improve the learning experience of these students.

The event is delivered by Jo Todd, one of the country's leading authorities on teaching and learning for students with hidden disabilities. Jo has a wealth of experience and will provide practical solutions to the everyday difficulties faced by teachers in the classroom.
